Severe Weather Trading (SWT)

    General Questions
  1. Effective 23 September 2024, when Typhoon Signal No.8 or above, Extreme Conditions or Black Rainstorm warning (collectively severe weather conditions) are issued, Hong Kong’s securities and listed derivatives markets, including Northbound Trading under Stock Connect, derivatives holiday trading and after-hours trading, as well as clearing and settlement services will continue as normal.

    BOOM's internet and mobile trading platforms will function as usual.
  2. Our office premises will be closed during severe weather conditions, and will remain closed throughout the rest of the day.
  3. Fund withdrawals will be suspended for that business day if severe weather conditions were in force in anytime during the business hours.

    Customer support and services will be limited in scope. Response and processing time will take longer than usual.
