According to the HKEx, stock quotes used from market open of each trading session to 15 minutes after market close of each trading session (i.e. 9:00 am to 12:15 pm, and 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm HKT) will be considered as real-time quote usage.

As such, even the stock market is closed, the system will deduct usage from your real-time snap quotes balance for stock quotes enquired from 12:00 pm to 12:15 pm or from 4:00 pm to 4:15 pm HKT.

When you have used up all the free Hong Kong real-time snap quotes, you can continue to enjoy unlimited free 15-minute delayed quotes.

7. You order is received. You will receive a confirmation number as reference.

Do I need to install any software to use the real-time streaming quotes?

No. All the real-time streaming quotes packages to subscribe through MONEX BOOM are purely web-based applications, which you do not need to install any standalone software before using it. What you need is only an Internet Explorer 5.0 or above, with Java enabled.

Payment and Termination

How does MONEX BOOM charge me on the real-time streaming quotes?

All the real-time streaming quotes are charged on calendar month basis. That is, the subscribed service is available from the first day to the last day of the calendar month, and the full month subscription fee will be charged for service less than a month.

On the 25th of the month, subscription fees for the following month services will be deducted from your MONEX BOOM account automatically in advance. If there are not enough funds to cover the subscription fees at the end of the month, your real-time quotes service for the following month will be suspended.
How do I cancel my subscription on real-time streaming quotes?

To terminate the real-time streaming quotes, simply send us a termination notice with your name, MONEX BOOM account number and the service you wanted to terminate, by email before the 25th of the month. We will send you an email as confirmation.

If we do not receive your termination notice before the 25th, the subscription fees for the following month services will be deducted from your MONEX BOOM account automatically.

Termination Policy

Client may terminate the subscription by sending an email to MONEX BOOM (service@boomhq.com) at least 10 calendar days before the beginning of the service month. If termination comes to MONEX BOOM after payment is made, the effective date of termination is the end of the service month.
